Marietta rock band Almost Kings had a taste of the top of the music industry this weekend as the winners of the first Garage to Grammys Live contest.

Formed in 2008 by Lassiter and Sprayberry alumni, the band talked to Marietta Patch about its music and goals before heading to Los Angeles for a live, streaming performance at the Grammy Awards expo.
