AquaRama Bounces Back from Arson
The suspect in the string of Powder Springs Street fires remains in jail, where he is accused of committing another crime.

AquaRama Pools & Spas expects to finish the renovations from November's arson by the end of this month, the Marietta Daily Journal reports.
The 45-year-old Marietta business on Powder Springs Street was one of three businesses that suffered extensive damage in a series of arsons and break-ins that shut down Powder Springs Street early Nov. 14.
Pro Elegance Hair Studio and the Drivers Automotive repair shop were destroyed in the fires, and no work has taken place to rebuild them, the MDJ said.
But AquaRama has made the best of a bad situation and taken the opportunity to update its facility to remain in Marietta for decades to come, owner Karen Frye told the MDJ.
Claude Leroy Brown, 38, of Marietta remains in the Cobb County jail charged with six counts of felony burglary, three counts of felony first-degree arson and a misdemeanor count of simple battery on an officer.
The last charge stemmed from an incident in jail Dec. 9, according to jail records.
No bond has been set for the Powder Springs Street charges.
