Belly Dancing, Hookah Come to Marietta Square

Marietta Square’s newest addition is an Egyptian, Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurant complete with a hookah lounge and weekend belly dancing. Laziza will have its grand opening on Friday, Aug. 17.

The Earl Smith Strand Theatre on Marietta Square has a new neighbor—Laziza.

The Egyptian, Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurant and Hookah Lounge had its soft opening earlier this week. Tonight, Friday, Aug. 17, Laziza celebrates its grand opening on the Square.

Laziza is located at 113 N. Park Sq between the Strand and Sarah Jean’s. Friday and Saturday evenings will include live belly dancing; however, Saturday, Aug. 18, will not have belly dancers present.

Have you made stopped by Laziza? Are you excited to have a hookah lounge on the Square? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

There are going to be about 26 different flavors of hookah. While the restaurant intends to sell beer and wine, as of Friday afternoon they were not serving alcoholic beverages.

The lunch buffet is $8.99.  For more information, contact Laziza at 770-590-9422.

We went for the first time night on Saturday night and will definitely return again and again. The food and atmosphere were amazing! So many awesome things on the menu we had a hard time choosing just one. If you have not been to Laziza you are missing out on a fantastic night out!
