Cobb Police Seek Help in Identifying Body

Investigators suspect foul play involving body found this morning near Carruth Drive south of Marietta.

 

Cobb Police are involved in a homicide investigation following this morning’s discovery of the body of a dead man.

Investigators said police with the Crimes Against Persons Unit dispatched to the 200 block of Carruth Drive south of Marietta arrived at about 8:45 a.m. When they investigated, they found the body of a dead but unidentified man between two houses and determined that he had been killed.

Police called in the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office to assist detectives with their investigation and attempts to identify the victim.

Anyone with information that may assist the medical examiner or the Crimes Against Persons Unit should call 770-499-3945.

A sketch, a photo....common sense right? Maybe they aren't so inclined to have this person identified. What else is missing? How about a basic description: Height, weight, hair color, possible age, clothing and any identifiable marks or tatoos. You sure they want to identfy this person....I'm not seeing it.
