Don't Get Caught in Traffic, Sept. 4-7
Take a look at the road work being done in Marietta this week.
The following road work will be in progress this week, according to Commissioner Helen Goreham:
Barrett Parkway Construction
The contractor will install storm drainage pipe and perform grading operations with lane closures in both directions on Barrett Pkwy. Expect delays Tuesday, Sept. 4 through Friday, Sept. 7. The extended lane closures in the “off-peak” direction (Southbound in the morning and Northbound in the evening) will continue.
Northbound Barrett Parkway (Burnt Hickory Road to Ridenour Boulevard): Tuesday, Sept. 4 through Friday, Sept. 7
You can expect periodic lane closures northbound between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. between Burnt Hickory Road and Ridenour Boulevard. One lane will remain open at all times.
Southbound Barrett Pkwy (Ridenour Boulevard to Burnt Hickory Road): Tuesday, Sept. 4 through Friday, Sept. 7
Please anticipate periodic lane closures southbound from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. between Ridenour and Burnt Hickory Roads with one lane remaining open at all times.
