Get Out to Document Shredding, Kell March-A-Thon

Keep Cobb Beautiful, Keep Smyrna Beautiful and Keep Marietta Beautiful are joining forces to allow Cobb residents to dispose of unwanted documents by shredding them.

 

1.  Keep Cobb Beautiful, Keep Smyrna Beautiful and Keep Marietta Beautiful are joining forces to allow Cobb residents to dispose of unwanted documents by shredding them on Saturday.

From 9 a.m. to noon, there will be three locations at which residents may have their documents shredded for free. Residents may bring up to 100 pounds of paper to be shredded.

The document shredding locations are as follows:

2. Saturday at 9:30 a.m., the Kell High School Marching Longhorns will step-off at North Landing subdivision pool parking. Their objective is to entertain their community while helping serve their community. This is the 4th year of the Kell March-A-Thon. The Longhorns will march through several neighborhoods (North Landing, Jamerson Forest, and Country Meadows) while collecting non-perishable food and lightly worn, clean clothing to donate to MUST Ministries.

3. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 9 a.m., come out for a Rain Garden Workshop at the Cobb County Water Quality Lab, 662 S Cobb Dr. SE, Marietta.
