Learn New Skills With Free Online Courses Through Cobb Libraries

The program offers you access to hundreds of instructor-led online courses covering everything from health and wellness to creative writing, computer programming, GED test preparation and much more.

 

Interested in learning new skills? Cobb County Public Library System cardholders can now access ed2go, a unique program providing instructor-led, online courses through the library’s website at cobbcat.org.

The ed2go program offers you access to hundreds of instructor-led online courses covering everything from health and wellness to creative writing, computer programming, GED test preparation and much more.

ed2go courses are developed by expert instructors, many currently working at universities around the country, and have continuous enrollment dates.

Each individual course is offered online for six weeks and features 12 lessons with online discussions, homework, quizzes and a final exam.

Catalog listings include courses on:

  • Creating web pages
  • Grant writing
  • Project management
  • Accounting
  • Photography
  • Homeschooling
  • Parenting
  • Health and wellness
  • Art
  • Writing

All library cardholders can enroll and participate in courses from library computers or remotely from their home computer.

The link is incorrect. Although is is spelled correctly, the link is actually linked to "cobcat.org. Missing a vital "b" to get to the correct link.
