Life University to Celebrate Sid Williams
The founder of the Marietta university will be remembered at a special assembly and gala dinner Friday.
Life University is holiding a Celebration of Life day on Friday to honor the memory of Dr. Sid Williams.
An assembly will take place at 2 p.m. Friday in the TIC Auditorium of the Life Sport Health Science Building, 1269 Barclay Circle, Marietta.
According to the EAST COBBER, the guests include U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson and boxing champion Evander Holyfield.
A black tie gala scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday has been sold out.
Williams, who helped foster Life as one of the largest chiropractic collleges in the nation, died of a stroke on Dec. 27 at the age of 84.
