Marietta City Schools Superintendent Hosts Coffee Talk

The Coffee Talk on Thursday will educate the community about the March 6, general obligation bond referendum for a multi-use auditorium at Marietta High School.

Marietta City Schools Superintendent Dr. Emily Lembeck will host Coffee Talk, a community dialogue, at 7 p.m., Thursday at the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Academy at Sawyer Road Elementary.

Coffee Talk provides parents and community members an informal opportunity to meet with the Superintendent. This session will also serve to educate parents and community members about the March 6, general obligation bond referendum for construction of a multi-use auditorium at Marietta High School.

“Ongoing dialogue with the community continues to be a goal of accomplishments, new strategic initiatives and our progress overall,” said Dr. Emily Lembeck in a press release.

The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Academy at Sawyer Road Elementary provides kindergarten through fifth grade students an interdisciplinary, student-centered academic program that develops a global perspective through inquiry-based learning.

“Coffee Talk” is free and open to the public. For more information, call 770-422-3500, ext. 231.
