Marietta Man Fatally Stabbed

Cobb County police found the 28-year-old outside an East Cobb restaurant early Sunday.

A Marietta man was fatally stabbed early Sunday outside East Cobb Mexican restaurant Los Bravos.

Cobb County police officers responding to a call about a man armed with a knife arrived at the restaurant about 3:20 a.m., according to a press release from Sgt. Dana Pierce. The officers found a man with multiple stab wounds in the parking lot at 1360 Powers Ferry Rd.

The wounded man, 28, was dead upon arrival at a hospital. Police are withholding his name until they notify his family.

Witnesses said the killer fled in a red Cadillac CTS.

The restaurant is in a small strip mall at the northwestern corner of Powers Ferry and Terrell Mill roads. It is beside Brumby Elementary School.

Police ask anyone with information about the stabbing to call 770-499-3945.

To GaPatriot - My family (and we happen to be "white") are long time friends with the owner of this restaurant and his family. We have been dining at this location weekly for over 17 years. As a matter of fact, when I visit my family in GA, that this the first place I choose to dine when arriving in Marietta. They are legal immigrants whose family chose a "better" life in the states. Fact, there was another incident (approx. 10 years ago) where road rage insued in the driveway of this same strip shopping in front of Los Bravos and 1 man was shot and killed. Neither man in this situation was "mexican" They were both "white". Your ignorance is appaulling. What needs to be eliminated are racial, radical comments such as yours. You fail to remember, that somewhere down your ancestrial history, your relatives were also immigrants.
