Marietta Students Named Georgia Reflections Winners
MCAA, Marietta Middle School and West Side Elementary students are among the top finishers in the 2011-2012 Georgia PTA annual Reflections cultural arts program.
Four Marietta City Schools students are among the top finishers in the 2011-2012 Georgia PTA annual Reflections cultural arts program.
The Georgia PTA’s annual Reflections program offers students in preschool through grade 12 the opportunity to create works of art in the areas of literature, photography, film/video production, musical composition, visual arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making, and collage), and dance choreography.
Musical Composition
- Natalie Gratwick (1st place), West Side Elementary
- Caroline Gratwick (3rd place), Marietta Middle School
Literature
- Olivia Kiklica (2nd place), Marietta Middle School
Film Production
- Maili Skollar (3rd place), Marietta Center for Advanced Academics
The placing announcements and the names of Georgia participants whose entries advanced to the National PTA level of judging took place at the Georgia PTA Reflections Reception held Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta.
