Man Injured in Douglasville Train Crash
One man was injured and taken to Atlanta Medical after apparently attempting to drive around the warning signal cross bar and over the train tracks in downtown Douglasville this morning, according to Capt. D. Shaw, Douglasville Police Department.

Clerk Shot in Murder-Suicide at Bartow's Barnsley Gardens Resort
Bartow County authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at an upscale resort near Cartersville.
Sheriff Clark Millsap said in a statement that deputies were called to Barnsley Gardens Resort near Adairsville at 2:40 a.m. to reports a female clerk had been shot. The man who allegedly shot her had fled into nearby woods. Read more on Cartersville Patch.
Report: Kennesaw Man Left Toddler Alone, Sold Drugs
A Kennesaw man allegedly left a toddler alone in an apartment while he sold drugs, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The AJC, citing an arrest warrant, reported that Darnell Anthony Marshall allegedly sold 7.9 grams of marijuana to an undercover agent in the parking lot of the Greenhouse Apartments last Thursday. Read more on Kennesaw Patch.
Coach Resigns After East Cobb Public Indecency Arrest
A former NFL linebacker accused of exposing himself to a woman in an East Cobb subdivision last month has resigned from his job at a Sandy Springs school.
