This is so sad. I'm going to assume she wasn't in a crosswalk. I saw two people, with little kids, trying to cross Austell Road and South Cobb Drive with cars coming in both directions. They were both mere feet from an intersection. Why do people do that? Didn't anybody learn anything from the Rachel Nelson case?

I live in marietta and where this lady was hit there is no crosswalk. Also there is a blind spot. Drivers travel that stretch of road like it's the Indy 500. What really makes it soo freaking sad.#1 not far from MariettaPolice Department.#2 not even far from CobbCounty's 911 center. Possible three cars hit this lady. Where are the camera's? My question is marietta has enough money to buy mules,a round about but not enough money to keep pedestrians safe. Really I see where my money is going.

Amaris...there are PLENTY of crosswalks but you have to take your lazy butt to the intersections where they are located. That's how traffic works. Understand?

Amaris, please clue me in on the mules the city of Marietta purchased. I am not aware of this. The round about is so needed and will help traffic and make that intersection safer.
