Atlanta Hawks coaches, athletes and cheerleaders shared important health and fitness tips with homework center students at various drilling stations in the gym at Birney Elementary on Oct. 16.

The Atlanta Hawks NBA Fit Clinic is the NBA league's comprehensive health and wellness program that encourages physical activity and healthy living for children and families.

The Birney Elementary Homework Center, a SCANA Energy Homework Centers, operates from 2:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The center serves 45 third through fifth grade students.
