Police Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

Police arrested a woman believed to have assisted in the robbery of a BB&T bank and are still seeking a man.

Megan Haney, who is believed to have assisted in the Halloween robbery of a BB&T bank, was arrested about 4 p.m. Tuesday after an hours-long hunt by Marietta SWAT officers, the Marietta Daily Journal says.

The Marietta Police Department was involved in a search in the area of North Marietta Parkway to Allgood Road, west of I-75 to Highway 41, Marietta police officer David Baldwin said.

Officers are still seeking John E. McCrary, who is considered armed and dangerous, MDJ says.

McCrary is believed to be the man who, dressed in a shoulder-length black wig, women’s clothing and sunglasses, robbed the BB&T bank at 1901 Sandy Plains Rd. in Marietta.
