Put on Your Best Dress, Winning Smile
Tiny Miss North Georgia State Fair for ages three to four kicks off the annual fair Sept. 22 at Jim R. Miller Park.
Young ladies, 3 to 24-years-old, will put on a dress and a winning smile in the annual North Georgia State Fair Pageant Sept. 22, the opening night of the North Georgia State Fair.
The fair, which runs for 11 days, takes place at Jim R. Miller Park. The 2011 fair theme is “Take A Ride on the Wild Side.”
Reigning Miss Georgia 2011 Michaela Lackey will be a guest mistress of ceremonies.
The first division, Tiny Miss NGSF for ages 3 to 4, kicks off festivities at the main arena at 6 p.m.
Judging will take place for the following age groups: Petite Miss NGSF for ages 5 to 6, Little Miss NGSF for ages 7 to 9, Pre-Teen Miss NGSF for ages 10 to 12, Junior Miss NGSF for ages 13 to 15, Teen Miss NSGF for ages 16 to 17 and Miss NGSF for ages 18 to 24.
Winners are announced after each contest. Each division will have a winner and two runners-up.
The fair pageant is managed and conducted by the Miss Cobb County Scholarship Pageant, and all proceeds go to the Miss Cobb County Scholarship fund.
