Cobb County Government and Metro Atlanta Ambulance officials recently cut the ribbon on a new 147-seat outdoor amphitheatre at the Cobb County Safety Village.

The ambulance company sponsored the $110,000, facility, which will be used for safety classes. T

he Safety Village, which opened in 2009, is a child-size representation of Cobb, complete with scaled-down models of operative buildings with signage, streets, traffic lights and homes.
