Students came from all over Georgia to make games at the Georgia Global Game Jam 2011. The School of Computing and Software Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University hosted the event for close to 200 students who came together to design new games.
Game designers from around the globe participated in this 48-hour Global Game Jam beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and ending 5 p.m. Sunday, all following the same set of rules to develop games with this year's theme "Extinction."
All of the games will be posted at the Global Game Jam Web site at globalgamejam.org.
