West Cobb Teen Found Safe

Maggie Adams, 16, had been missing for two weeks.

 

The West Cobb teenager who had been missing for two weeks is safe with her family tonight.

According to Twitter and Facebook posts, Maggie Adams, 16, was found this Tuesday by authorities in Woodstock, where her classmates at Cobb Performing Learning Center said she might be headed to.

Adams, who lives with her family in the Rosemont neighborhood off Dallas Highway, had last been seen at her school.

"That is all the information we have, but we are thrilled to know that she is safe," one Facebook post says. "A huge thank you to this community, along with Patch.com, the Marietta Daily Journal, the Sheriff's Office, other authorities and countless individuals for coming together to help find her."
