Former Cobb commission chairman Sam Olens is returning to his political roots Wednesday. Olens, an East Cobb resident who was elected Georgia's Attorney General last November, will be the featured speaker at the East Cobb Civic Association's monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the East Cobb Library, 4880 Lower Roswell Road. Cobb Commission Chairman Tim Lee announced his re-election bid last week by scheduling an initial campaign fundraiser and by calling out one of his rivals.  Lee will hold a fundraiser Monday at the home of Marietta couple Mary Lou and Dan Stephens.
