A much anticipated rain moved through Marietta Thursday night and early Friday, washing away some of the record-breaking pollen. Minor damage from Thursday night's storm scattered Marietta, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and WSB report. Trees were blown down and one even fell on a car in the Hickory Walk neighborhood off Whitlock Avenue. The owner of the vehicle was in his house when the tree fell on his car, WSB reports.
