The Georgia Panthers will look to advance to 3-0 when they make their first road game of the season Saturday at the DC River Dogs (1-2) in Marietta. The DC River Dogs will try to end a two game losing streak after falling 15-12 to the Valdosta Hawks Sunday.
The Panthers are off to a fast 2-0 start in NDFL action with two dominating wins over the Atlanta Rattlers (59-0) and Jonesboro Rebels (45-0). The Panthers have outscored its opponents 104-0 and not allowed an opponent closer than the 40-yard line this season.
The game against the River Dogs features the return of Panther’s owner/head coach Joseph Courson against owner George Duker who he coached for with the Marietta Hitmen last season.
The game will be played at R.L. Osborne High School at 2451 Favor Rd. in Marietta. Kickoff is 6:00 pm, March 24th.

More About R.L. Osborne High School
The history of R.L. Osborne High School stretches back for more than 120 years, making it the oldest high school in Cobb County. Established as the Olive Springs Community School in 1881 as a one-room school house, the school went through numerous incarnations before becoming a fully accredited senior high school in 1928 and moving to its present location in 1962.
The school is named after R.L. Osborne, who served as principal of Olive Springs for nine years starting in 1919.
Today, the school embraces the dynamic nature of a different community, offering numerous cultural opportunities, advanced placement courses and extracurricular activities.
Dr. Charlotte Stowers is the current principal.
