Cobb Public Meetings This Week

The county commission is expected to adopt the FY 2014 budget, and the school board is holding a work session.

The following are official public meetings this week involving Cobb County Government bodies and the Cobb County School District.

The Cobb Board of Commissioners is scheduled to adopt the fiscal year 2014 budget on Wednesday. Prior to that, at 9 a.m. Monday, they will have a work session. 

The Cobb Board of Education is holding its regularly scheduled monthly work session on Wednesday. 

  • Cobb Board of Commissioners Work Session, 9 a.m. Monday, 3rd floor board room, 100 Cherokee Street, Marietta; 
  • Cobb Planning Commission Meeting, 9 a.m. Monday, 2nd floor board room, 100 Cherokee Street, Marietta (see attached agenda PDF);
  • Cobb Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting, including proposed FY 2014 adoption, 9 a.m. Tuesday, 2nd floor board room, 100 Cherokee Street, Marietta (see attached agenda PDF); 
  • Cobb Board of Education Work Session, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, 1st floor board room, 514 Glover Street, Marietta; 
  • Cobb Planning Commission Special Called Meeting, 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, 2nd floor board room, 100 Cherokee Street, Marietta;
  • Cobb Board of Zoning Appeals Variance Hearing, 1 p.m. Wednesday, 2nd floor board room, 100 Cherokee Street, Marietta;
  • Cobb Planning Commission Special Called Work Session, 10 a.m. Friday, Clerk's Office, Suite 300, 100 Cherokee Street, Marietta.
