Help is on the way. A company that has been in the business of exploring new worlds and vistas with teens is coming to town and they are gearing up for their summer 2014 program. Since 1983, Adventures Cross-Country (ARCC) has offered opportunities for students ages 13 to 18 packed with adventure, community service and language immersion.

Adventures Cross-Country (http://www.adventurescrosscountry.com /) the leading provider of domestic and international travel with a purpose, has taken its show on the road. They will be spotlighting a lineup of 25 programs on six continents being offered this summer.

Adventures Cross-Country will introduce its programs to interested teens and parents from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Mansour Center - Georgian Bank Room at 995 Roswell Street in Marietta.

The 60-minute program is free and open to the public. A question-answer period will follow the presentation, giving families the opportunity to dive deeper into Adventures Cross-Country programs.

Founded in 1983, its programs are designed for students currently in 7-12 grades who want a summer experience that combines trying new activities, exploring new locations, experiencing the independence of traveling with a small group of peers, conquering new challenges and giving back to communities around the world. ARCC’s mission is to provide unique, life changing, educational experiences for students in places rarely visited and situations seldom experienced.

ARCC also offers an educational and cultural bridge between high school and college with its Gap Semester programs in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
