Margie Medlin Receives Cobb Association of REALTORS’ Humanitarian of the Year Award

At its annual installation of Officers and Awards luncheon on December 4, the Cobb Association of REALTORS® (CAR) honored Margie Medlin of RE/MAX Pure with the Humanitarian of the Year Award.

Wendy Bunch, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Pure and 2013 President of CAR presented the Humanitarian Award to Margie Medlin, who has been with RE/MAX since 1991, and commented: “Margie is the true definition of an amazing REALTOR in her industry and her community.  Margie thrives on providing customer service and satisfaction in her business, while finding time to give back countless hours to her local board, the COBB Association of REALTORS. We are super proud of Margie and congratulate her with this incredible accomplishment.”

Ms. Medlin was recognized for her ongoing community service through CAR, which includes - but is not limited to - volunteering with the Marietta Museum of History, the Marietta Pilgrimage Tour, the Summer Lunch Program and other service opportunities in Cobb county. She also helps coordinate various Harley-Davidson benefit rides.

“I am honored and humbled to receive the Humanitarian of the Award. It gives me great pleasure to be of service and to be part of the CAR team that helps fill many needs in our community,” says Ms. Medlin, who was born and raised in Cobb County. In addition to her activities with CAR, Chapter with Heart Chair, she works with the CRS Georgia Chapter that raises monies for the Fisher House in Augusta and the Ronald McDonald House in Atlanta, serves on the Boots & Bling event committee benefiting YMCA of

Cobb County, and also on various ministries through her own church community outreach program.

During her long and distinguished career with RE/MAX, Ms. Medlin has earned her CRS and GRI credentials and was named to the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
