2013 Marietta Easter Services, Events

The following is a selection of Easter-related services in and around Marietta. If you don't see your church's information listed here or want to report a change to anything in the schedule below, leave a comment.

Marietta

Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church will celebrate the season with an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Services on Sunday include: Sunrise Service at 7 a.m.; Breakfast from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.; and 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services.

Grace Community Church's Sunday services are at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Presbyterian Church of Marietta will hold services on Sunday at 6:30 a.m. in Sanctuary; 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. in the Great Hall; and contemporary worship at 11:15 a.m. in Sanctuary.

Roswell Street Baptist Church will hold Blended Worship in the Worship Center at 11 a.m.; Contemporary Worship in the G-Building (Gym) at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.; Brazilian Worship in The Loft at 11 a.m.; and Korean Worship at Roswell Street Center a 11 a.m.

Zion Baptist Church will have services at 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

St. James Episcopal Church will hold a Holy Saturday Liturgy at 10 a.m. and a Great Vigil of Easter and Baptisms at 7 p.m. on Saturday as well as Easter Sunday service at 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Stonebridge Church will have three services on Sunday at 7, 9 and 11 a.m. The 9 and 11 a.m. services will have children’s ministry for birththrough 5th grade only.

Mount Calvary Baptist Church: On Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m., children third grade and younger can participate in the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Contact 770-422-5450 for more information.

On Sunday at 11 a.m., celebrate with music and praise through the Easter service.
