Art, Artist and Artifacts of the Civil War

Students tour the Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art before the closing of the Civil War Sesquicentennial exhibit to enrich their knowledge on the era.

Collectors loaned their art and artifacts to the for the "Arts, Artists and Artifacts of the Civil War" exhibit. Combined with the museum's own collection, it was all put together to commemorate the Civil War Sesquicentennial.

Bremen City Schools brought 170 fifth-grade students to the exhibit Sept. 8 to get a more in depth account of the Civil War era. They also toured the battlefields at and Cheatham Hill.
