Brewery Tour, Shakespeare Performances Happening this Weekend

Check out some of the events going on in Marietta this weekend.

DJ Trivia
Beat boredom tonight and play at Sidelines Sports Grille and Bar at 1440 Roswell Rd. There are various categories to entertain a wide range of people, and the three top teams will win prizes. Trivia begins at 8 p.m.

Red Hare Brewing Company Tours and Tastings
Come with us as we take a walk through the brewery.  Last call for beer is at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 5:20 p.m. on Saturday. Souvenir glasses for beer tasting are available for $10. The glass comes with six tickets for sampling beer.

The Red Hare Brewing Company is located at 1998 Delk Industrial Blvd. Tour times are Thursday and Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged [revised]
Get ready to experience sixteen comedies, eleven tragedies, ten histories and assorted sonnets, all brought to you by three zany actors in 97 side-splitting minutes. “” will be presented by in Next Stage's Alley Stage off the Marietta Square July 13-July 21.

Show dates are July 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 8 p.m. and Tickets are $15. Out of Box offers a special Industry Night on July 19 with $10 tickets and a Sunday matinee on July 15 at 3 p.m. with Pay-What-You-Can prices with a minimum of $5.

Marietta Square Artists Market
 on the Marietta Square on Saturday. The public may enjoy paintings, jewelry, fiber art or photography from various local and regional artists. This is a free event with prices on goods set by the artists themselves. This is held in conjunction with the , which will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon at the on Cherokee Street.

Come out to witness the best of the sideshow with Captain & Maybelle. You’ll be amazed at what the human body can do. As dubbed by Piers Morgan on America’s Got Talent as “the two most disgusting people in America”, The Captain & Maybelle are sure to entertain. See the wonders of yesteryear’s carnival sideshow up close and personal. Sword swallowing, the human blockhead and much more.
