Career Expo, College Fair, Mechanic Talk
1. Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 83 and calm winds between 5 and 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph, the National Weather Service says.
2. More than 50 businesses, colleges and universities, and service organizations will be on hand to recruit at the Marietta/Cobb Career Expo. The expo is at the from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
3. A seminar on what to look for in a mechanic will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the East Cobb Senior Center. Scott Holton from Aero Auto will speak at the event. Call 770-509-4900 for more information or to make a reservation.
4. Chris Young is in concert at the at 8 p.m. Unlimited rides are available for $18.
5. The Probe College Fair will give students an opportunity to speak with college representatives from over 100 colleges and universities. The fair will be held in the gym from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
