Teen Advisory Board Meeting/Election Day Workshop at South Cobb Regional LibraryTuesday, Nov. 5, 6 to 7 p.m. The monthly board will catch up on what teens are doing in the library. For ages 14 to 17. For more information, call (678) 398-5828.

Rockin' Readers at Powder Springs Library. Wednesdays through Dec. 18, 4 to 5 p.m. The program helps enhance reading comprehension skills through music, art, reading and play. Ages 4-10. For more information, call (770) 439-3600.

The Handwriting Club at Gritters LibraryWednesday, Nov. 6, 4 to 5 p.m. The club practices cursive and calligraphy. Ages 7-12. For more information, call (770) 528-2524.

Read It Before You Watch It Teen Book Club at Switzer LibrarySaturday, Nov. 9, 3 o 4 p.m. The club this fall will discuss young adult books being released as movie adaptations. On Nov. 9 the club will focus on "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins. For middle and high school age readers. The Dec. 14 discussion will be on J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit."
