Cinnamon Crunch Snack Recalled by Somersault Snack

The manufacturer said the packaging fails to list the allergen milk as an ingredient, though it is used in the snack.

If you like Somersault Snack Co.'s Cinnamon Crunch snack, beware if you have milk allergies. Today, Somersault Snack Co., in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is voluntarily recalling all packages of Somersaults Cinnamon Crunch products with sell by dates of 8/30/2013 or earlier.

The packaging of the affected Somersaults Cinnamon Crunch products fails to list milk as an ingredient/allergen contained in the product.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of an allergic reaction if they consume these products. The product was distributed to retail stores nationwide. No allergic reactions have been reported.

Somersault Snack is voluntarily recalling approximately 36,757 cases of the product shown.

This voluntary recall affects only Somersaults Cinnamon Crunch products; no other Somersault products are affected by this recall.

Somersault Snack Co. will work with retail customers to ensure that the recalled products are removed from store shelves.

Any consumers who believe they have purchased products affected by this voluntary recall should return the product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund. Consumers with questions may call 415-407-9172 for more information.

This is a fine example of freedom being too much to handle for some folks. The idiots who gave theRead More kid the gun should be jailed. Its obvious that a 5 year old should neither posses, nor handle a firearm period. Having said that I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment and the NRA. However we cannot measure the validity of the right to bear arms by using these idiot parents as a case study.
