Cobb County Special Olympians Hit the Pool
Although the county had to delay several Special Olympic events this week because of weather, the swimmers displayed their talents at the Cobb Aquatics Center.
Cobb County Special Olympic swimmers ages 8 and up swam laps this week as they worked to win ribbons. The Special Olympics is a year-round program that offers 15 sports opportunities: track and field, basketball, bowling, golf, swimming, tennis, volleyball, equestrian, table tennis, gymnastics, ice skating, roller skating, alpine skiing, bocce and powerlifting.
