Here's what you need to know to start July 20 in Marietta.

5. Congratulations to Marietta resident Mary Frances Grogan Mahan, who celebrated her 100th birthday Monday at the Marietta Senior Center, the Marietta Daily Journal reports. She and her younger sister, 88-year-old Virginia Williams, live in the house where Mahan was born on Grogan Street, the MDJ says.
