Eagle Scout's Project Brings Play, Joy to Area Church

Spirit of Sloan Coolbroth's service project not only gives Iglesia Bautista Emanuel a new playground but also inspiration for church to form a troop of its own.

Sloan Coolbroth learned real life skills by raising funds, organizing and managing a project to earn his Eagle Scout rank. Coolbroth, is a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Foothills District, Troop #444 out of .

Sloan and his family attend Mt. Bethel United Methodist  Church and many friends from church joined in to help as they constructed a playground for Iglesia Bautista Emanuel over the weekend. At the same time, the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts have begun work with the men of the church to build a new troop in this area.

This is a fine example of freedom being too much to handle for some folks. The idiots who gave theRead More kid the gun should be jailed. Its obvious that a 5 year old should neither posses, nor handle a firearm period. Having said that I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment and the NRA. However we cannot measure the validity of the right to bear arms by using these idiot parents as a case study.
