Easter Eggs, Paint Out, Garage Sales and More Family Fun

With the Easter Bunny hanging out at Laurel Park and Jim Miller Park, activities at the Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art, a charity wine tasting and more, Marietta is going to have a busy weekend. What are you doing?

Easter Egg Scramble at , 151 Manning Road, Marietta 30064. Friday, March 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The free event is sponsored by the with plenty of candy and prizes for all. The hunt is divided into groups based on age: three and under, four to six, and seven to 10. After the hunt you can visit with the Easter Bunny for great photo opportunities.

Marietta Easter Egg Hunt at . Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The 2012 Marietta Easter Egg Hunt, Cobb’s largest egg hunt, features features children’s art activities, live entertainment, inflatables, concessions and more. You can also visit with the Easter Bunny and participate in the Mad Hatter contest. The Easter eggstravaganza egg hunt features different levels based on age groups with prizes at each level. The event is free.

Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1. Come out to the and paint local public and private sites in Historic Marietta. From the local homes and gardens, to the dynamic architecture of downtown, Historic Marietta has many picturesque scenes perfect for plein air painting. The Marietta-Cobb Museum’s Inaugural Plein Air Paint Out will feature a judged exhibition and sale on display at Surace Art Studios (located directly behind the museum).

Saturday, March 31 at . The public is welcome to set up and sell personal items or raise money for charity. No RSVP is needed if you would like to be a seller at the monthly garage sale. The store will be opening at our regular time that morning (10 a.m.) but sellers can start showing up at 8 a.m.

. Saturday, March 31 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join the Marietta Wine Market and several and sample five to six wines from the Monticello Winery in NAPA Valley. 

First Family Sunday. Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art. Admission is free. Stop by for an afternoon of fun activities for the family.
