We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars.

This column is dedicated to giving you five great local deals each week that will help your family's bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

This week, Frugal Family scoured our local sources to come up with free family activities, concerts, festivals, theme park bargains and a great deal on gas grills.

Ultimate Playdate in the Park , 4 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday in East Cobb Park. This popular (and free!) seasonal event encourages families to take an outdoor break for some fresh air and family-friendly music.  Held each Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. (through June 29, and then again from Sept. 7 to Oct. 26.  Jay Memory, founding member of the national act Memory Dean, performs old favorites and leads children in sing-alongs. Brown Bag Concert Series on the Marietta Square, noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday. Grab your lunch at one of the many great restaurants around the square and meet your friends and co-workers at Glover Park each Thursday in May for the Brown Bag Concert Series. The remaining concerts include Joy Parkman on Thursday, Bob Geresti on May 10 and the Beulah Land Gospel Band on May 26.

Marietta Greek Festival Friday through Sunday. A $3 admission includes parking and a chance to win a trip to Greece. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Dancing, music and lot of food! Six Flags White Water opens May 21.  Tickets and season tickets are available now online. As the largest water park in the South, White Water offers 50 attractions, including one of the world's tallest free-falls and tons of great family rides and play areas. A season ticket gives you unlimited visits all season and a Value Book with discounts on food and souvenirs.  Daily adult tickets are $36.99 but right now you can purchase two season tickets for the water park for $99.  Daily parking is $12, but the better deal is s season parking pass at $35.00.
