Lauren Guzzardi, a 28-year-old single Mom from Lithonia, posted a wish on social helping network Wish Upon a Hero, asking for a swing set for her autistic daughter Samantha. On Saturday, her wish will be granted at Anytime Fitness in Marietta.
Samantha experiences extreme anxiety and does not always have the capability to play in groups of other children.
Wish Upon A Hero is granting her wish, which was funded by Anytime Fitness.
“Anytime Fitness believes the heart is the most important muscle you can exercise,” Chuck Runyon, CEO and co-founder of Anytime Fitness, said. “We are honored to partner with Wish Upon a Hero to sponsor the wish grant for Samantha and her mother Lauren.”
Celebrity Wish Upon a Hero Wish Ambassador Phaedra Parks (Real Housewives of Atlanta, BRAVO) will be on hand to help present the wish grant. Celebrity Wish Upon A Hero Spokesperson Adrian Dortch (representing Anti-bullying), Biggest Loser Season 2011 will also be on hand to help present the wish grant.
