Marietta Marine Killed in Helicopter Collision

Lance Cpl. Corey A. Little was among seven killed last week.

Seven U.S. Marines were killed in on the outskirts of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AR, on Wednesday. Lance Cpl. Corey A. Little, 25, who attended Southern Polytechnic State University, was among the dead, 10 News reported.

Little studied construction management at SPSU before joining the Marines in 2009, the Atalanta Journal-Constitution and U-T San Diego say. He was a 2004 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Fayette County.

Corey's wife Nickolas, 25, is three months pregnant with their first child, the AJC says.

A memorial service for Little is planned for next Friday at Camp Pendleton in Arizona, where Little was stationed, U-T San Diego says. Little will be buried in the Atlanta area this week.

This is a fine example of freedom being too much to handle for some folks. The idiots who gave theRead More kid the gun should be jailed. Its obvious that a 5 year old should neither posses, nor handle a firearm period. Having said that I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment and the NRA. However we cannot measure the validity of the right to bear arms by using these idiot parents as a case study.
