Marietta Memorial Day Celebrations
It's all happening today—the 63rd Marietta Memorial Day Ceremony, artillery demonstrations, a drill team performance and more.
1. The 63rd Memorial Day Ceremony at the Marietta National Cemetery will take place on Monday, May 28 at noon. Inspirational speakers, patriotic music, a gun salute and posting of the colors are all part of this ceremony. All veterans as well as the general public are invited to attend.
2. Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park will host Artillery Demonstrations on Monday, May 28 at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
3. On Monday, May 28, the Kennesaw Mountain High School's JROTC drill team will perform at 1 p.m. at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
