Pet of the Day: Ziggy

This dog was supposed to go to a home in the north, but because of hurricane Sandy the new home was flooded and Ziggy had to come back to the shelter in Marietta.

Ziggy is a 3-month-old, 23-pound male dog. When he came to the shelter on Sept. 8, 2012, he was too small to survive so a shelter employee took him home to care for him until he was old enough to be adopted.

He knows to sit and stay, to shake and to lay down. He is house trained, neutered and has had all his shots.

He was supposed to go to a home in the north but because of hurricane Sandy the new home was flooded. Ziggy had to come back to the shelter. He will get a micro-chip when adopted. He is in cage 317 and his ID# is 548270.
