Acworth Famer’s Market 

What: find locally-grown vegetables, fresh picked fruits, home baked breads and pies at the Farmer's Market in Historic Downtown Acworth.

Wesley Chapel UMC Community Fun Fest 

What: Arts & Crafts, Food, Music, Bar-B-Q, Treasure Sale, Train Show, Bounce House, Children's Activities.

Kell Band March-a-thon 

What: The Kell High School Marching Longhorns will step-off at North Landing subdivision pool parking lot on Saturday, September 22nd. Their objective is to entertain their community while helping serve their community. The Longhorns will march through several neighborhoods (North Landing, Jamerson Forest, and Country Meadows) while collecting non-perishable food and lightly worn, clean clothing to donate to MUST Ministries.

2012 Fall Atlanta Home Show 

What: Georgia’s largest fall home show will feature exhibits from hundreds of local home improvement companies and experts, showcasing the newest products and services for home interiors and exteriors. Vern Yip, of HGTV’s Design Star and Design Star All Stars, will headline a roster of home improvement experts who will speak each day.

When: 10 a.m.

Smyrna Fire Station No. 5 Grand Opening 

What: Tour Smyrna’s newest fire station and see fire engines up close.

Where: 750 Cooper Lake Road

Cost: Free 

ArborJam 

What: This unique evening features delicious food and drink, live music, a fun silent auction, and, as an added bonus, a visit through the Marietta Museum of History , housed on the second floor of the historic Kennesaw House. Proceeds benefit Georgia communities that have lost trees in storms.

When: 6 p.m.

Sunday

2nd annual Back to Health Fun Run and Health Expo 

What: Get active and learn about healthy habits.

When: Fun Run begins at 9 a.m. and the health expo follows until 2 p.m.

This is a fine example of freedom being too much to handle for some folks. The idiots who gave theRead More kid the gun should be jailed. Its obvious that a 5 year old should neither posses, nor handle a firearm period. Having said that I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment and the NRA. However we cannot measure the validity of the right to bear arms by using these idiot parents as a case study.
