Upcoming Meeting on Proposed Name Changes to Six Flags Roads

Cobb Community Development staff has proposed changing the names of Six Flags Drive, Six Flags Parkway, Six Flags Road and Six Flags Way.

Some of the street names are duplicated and could potentially create a public safety hazard.

The first step in this process is public meetings. A meeting was held at the South Cobb Recreation Center on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Another meeting to discuss the proposed change will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the BOC room on the second floor of 100 Cherokee St., Marietta.
