Young Ladies Win Honors at Little Miss Cobb

Southern Polytechnic State University hosted the 2001Little Miss Cobb Pageant on Saturday.

Beautiful and talented girls ages 2-18 competed in the 2011 Little Miss Cobb Pageant on Saturday at the Southern Polytechnic State University. From gorgeous gowns to hand-made costumes as well as vocal performances to harp playing and dance, this 20th Anniversary Little Miss Cobb was spectacular.

Results are as follows:

 (Ages 2-3) Tiny Miss Cobb County:  Ava Madison Monger; 1st Runner Up: Ashley Griffin; 2nd Runner Up: Abigail Sitten; Most Photogenic: Kaylee Tullis.

 (Ages 4-6) Petite Miss Cobb County: Bailey Hawkins; 1st Runner Up Madalyn Dufree; 2nd Runner Up: Abigail Sitten; Most Photogenic: Madalyn Dufree.

(Ages 7-9) Little Miss Cobb County: Marley Gentry; 1st Runner Up: Skye Taylor; 2nd Runner Up: Paige Sancomb; Most Photogenic: Marylou Burt.

(Ages 10-12) Pre Teen Miss Cobb County: Lindsey Jo’elle Wilson; 1st Runner Up: Rayven Bailey; 2nd Runner Up: Meri Ellis Hunt; Most Photogenic: Amanda MCKenzie.

(Ages 13-15) Junior Miss Cobb County: Ashley Owens; 1st Runner Up: Emilee Olsen; 2nd Runner Up: Abby Quarles; Most Photogenic: Abby Quarles.

(Ages 16-18) Teen Miss Cobb County: Sara Lachapelle; 1st Runner Up: Emily Rolader; 2nd Runner Up: Ally York; Most Photogenic: Ally York.

(Ages 8-12) Cobb’s Talented Miss: Rayven Bailey – Vocal; 1st Runner Up: Ashley McMunn – Dance; 2nd Runner Up Megan Webb.

(Ages 13-18) Cobb’s Talented Teen: Jewanda Lanier – Dance; 1st Runner Up: Katherine McCauley; 2nd Runner Up: Ally York.

The winners each received a tiara, banner, trophy, flowers, pageant doll, crown pin, teddy bear, Passes to the North Georgia State Fair, a special appearance at the Miss Cobb County Scholarship Peagant, attendance at the Miss Cobb County's Sendoff Party to the Miss Georgia Pageant and rides in both Marietta's 4th of July and Kennesaw's Big Shanty Festival Parades.

Each first and second alternate received a trophy and flowers. Most Photogenic winners received plaques.

Congratulations to all the contestants in the 20th Anniversary Little Miss Cobb Pageant.
