Here is what's happening in Marietta music this weekend.

With the metropolis of Atlanta to the south and numerous renowned musical venues peppered across the metro area, Marietta's music scene is often lost amid the din. But as any Marietta music lover knows, the local scene remains vibrant and essential. Marietta Patch is here to help you navigate it.

will play host to the cover tunes of The Bryan Clark Band on Friday and Saturday. The five-piece group plays rock, country, and even a rap song or two. If you like your music up close and in your face, this is the place. Jeff Pike will bring the volume down a bit Sunday with acoustic sessions.

The Local-Sidelines in Marietta has a weekend of Southern rock and blues in the house. Catch Olde Dawg this Friday and Bounty Hunter on Saturday. Every Thursday has The Casanovas hosting an open blues jam; bring out your ax and rock the masses.

Arya Dance Academy's ninth annual North Georgia Dance Concert is Sunday at the stage. From the Bollywood sets of India to the Broadway stages of New York, Arya Dance Academy is a charitable dance and entertainment organization dedicated to teaching South Asian dance techniques, music, singing and acting while striving to keep South Asian culture alive. The show starts at 3 p.m., visit the website for tickets.

takes you right from weekend until Monday and beyond. Barry Richmond gets Friday started. Beau Hall, Rod Hamdallah and Funky Fiasco will all be bringing their unique stylings and originals as well as covers to the stage. Nik's is live music, seven nights a week.

Marietta's First Friday Art Walk is bound to have some local music playing in the background. Drop into Sweet Melissa Records, which supports both local art and music. Also, dK Gallery is presenting  "A Painter’s View Art Walk" and is known to have some talented musicians in house during the strolls.
