Cobb Seniors Vie for Idol Crown

Cobb's seniors will take the stage next Tuesday afternoon in the hopes of being crowned the next Cobb Senior Idol.

The competition, which is in its ninth year, allows contestants to showcase their talents in comedy, dance and song in front of panel of judges.

Those judges will select the top five contestants. The audience will decide the winner.

Rehearsal begins Monday, May 6, and the competition gets underway at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, which is inside the Cobb Civic Center.

Contestant applications and event tickets are available at all senior centers. Tickets are $5.
