A Tribute to Margaret Mitchell: The Book That Touched the World

Come celebrate the 75th birthday of Margaret Mitchell's beloved novel with a two-day event hosted by the Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum on June 10-11.  Joining the festivities will be cast members from the film (Ann Rutherford, Mickey Kuhn, and Patrick Curtis), four authors who have all written books relating to Gone With the Wind (Anne Edwards, Marianne Walker, John Wiley, Susan Lindsley), actresses Morgan Brittany and Karolyn Grimes, and famous artist Joseph Yakovetic who will render (live) a GWTW painting for auction by the museum.

Festivities will include a Breakfast With the Stars at the beautiful Marietta Country Club, Here's Looking at You Kid with four former child stars, an authors panel with discussion about Margaret Mitchell and her book, The Golden Age of Hollywood an interview with Ann Rutherford, and a dinner at Hamilton's at the Hilton Atlanta-Marietta Conference Center followed by a program The Role of a Lifetime and an indepth interview with Anne Edwards.  Other scheduled festivities during the two-day event include an autograph signing with all celebrities and a fan swap-meet int he museum courtyard.  You don't want to miss this birthday celebration!  For information or tickets call 770-794-5145 or 770-794-5576.  See a full itinerary and bios of the celebrities at www.gwtwmarietta.com.
