Art in the Park

This September, the 26th annual Art in the Park returns to historic Marietta Square with loads of creative outdoor fun for the entire family as well as several new features this year like the Artcar Palooza and a 3-D Artist Exhibition. The Chalk Art Competition will also be back for the second year.

For the second year, the event will also feature a Chalk Art Competition.  All ages are welcome to participate, as are professional level artists. Participants will have the opportunity to “Chalk it up!” with dynamic chalk art works in randomly selected sidewalk squares. These works will be judged at the end of the day and will remain on display throughout the festival.   – interested participants can preregister (contact Emily Ryals, 770-528-1444x16, education@mariettacobbartmuseum.org). The competition is co-sponsored with the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, and everyone is welcome to compete.
