The 4th annual Boxerstock Music Festival takes place on Sunday, Oct. 23 from noon to 6 p.m. at Jim Miller Park. The event features live music from both national and local acts in a variety of genres. The family-friendly event also features vendor booths, children’s activities, face painting, dog costume contest, games, event photos, a visit from the Georgia 501st Legion of Storm Troopers, a concession stand, canine demonstrations and a silent auction. Animal Planet’s Victoria Stilwell from “It’s Me or the Dog” will also be there and available to autograph books.
Well-behaved dogs of all breeds are welcome on-leash, and dogs can also roam free in the miniature dog park, provided by C&C Fence Company.
Veterinarians from Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic will be there to answer all your health questions and trainers from K-9 Coach will be offering training tips. Microchipping will be available for $25 per dog (please bring proof of ownership and immunization records).
