Doctor Zhivago

Doctor Zhivago (Not Rated). Friday, August 26, 8 p.m. Based on the novel written by Nobel Prize winning Russian author Boris Pasternak, Doctor Zhivago follows the life of a Russian doctor/poet (Omar Sharif) who, although married, falls for a political activist's wife (Julie Christie) and experiences hardships during the Bolshevik Revolution. This celebrated 1965 movie won five Oscars, five Golden Globes, and more awards for movie, music, and cinematography. Live organ pops variety show and sing-along featuring The Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for children, students, and seniors.
