Judges

John Brian Guernsey’s work is based on a thorough and continuous technical understanding and training in painting, and within that context, a
continuing desire to build a personal expression, emotion, and style. His work is best described as contemporary impressionism in a “plein air”` style, covering subject matter from landscapes and cityscapes to still life. He is represented at Gallery 202 in Franklin, TN, and The Art House in Atlanta, GA and teaches regular paintings classes at The Art School at Sandy Springs, the Bowen Art Center, and the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art.
